HUMAN DESIGN
Human Design is a spiritual and scientific blueprint that describes your genetic-character makeup. Personal attributes and traits are specified in an intricate system combining astrology, chakra centers, kabbalah, i-ching and jungian archetypes. Insights reveal patterns and tendencies that influence personal perceptions, instincts, behaviours and capabilities.

ENERGY TYPES
There are 5 types within the Human Design System. Your type is determined by which energy centers you have turned on in the body. Your type determines how you use your energy.

Your energy type has indicators that help you make decisions. They are your compass and define your Authority, Strategy, and Not-self; explaining aspects of self that prompt you into action, energy centers you can rely on with consistency, and the best course of action to take if your choices are not working for you.
POWER CENTERS
There are 9 energy centers in the body that line up with nature’s laws, syncing up the laws of physics in the Universe within the energy we each contain. These spiritual centers are:
- Crown
- Mind
- Throat
- Self
- Heart
- Sacral
- Emotions
- Spleen
- Root
Your design type is influenced by the energy centers that are defined and undefined (open), translating into individual functions and expressions. An open center can be a wonderful source of wisdom or might be another person’s projection. Knowing your design will help you discern how to steer your energy by identifying aspects of yourself and not-self.
GATES & CHANNELS
Your gates reveal individual attributes, predispositions and attitudes you carry through life. Based on the I-Ching, they represent a trait, emotion, or tendency that you are conscious of or may be hidden from your character; found to be coded in your DNA.
Channels are energy pathways that connect your gates. They may be fully active within you and/or hold the potential to activate with others; igniting electromagnetic connections that create synchronicities and compatibility.
This is where things get exciting as your gates and channels are further influenced by the astrological energy of the earth, sun, and planets. And have variances in rhythms and resonance, seasons and cycles, adding to the intricacies that make up your overall profile and compatibility with others.
PROFILES
Your profile combines all of the human design elements into an Archetype and determines your compatibility and harmony with others. Everyone comes to the world with a specific profile or purpose. Understanding your profile helps you understand your purpose in life.
It’s through living your design that you fulfill your purpose. Woven into your profile are patterns for how you interact with others and particular ways you filter your experience and engage within the world.
INCARNATION CROSSES
The incarnation cross expresses where your sun and earth centers cross, revealing your path and purpose. It’s the narrative to your story and expresses your purpose through the role you play.
